Walked down to the lake and found a couple of
kilometers of sandy beach. Overloaded by garbage. People, who apparently like
the civilisation reresented by rubbish, go down in the sand with their families
and cars. Some are swimming, picnicing and somebody is trying, in vain, to dig
their truck wheels off the sand. They have to call for help. 10 big and 2 small
helpers and the truck is at last free. I can go on and suddenly I find myself in
a desert of dried mud. Nothing grows here, even the thistles are dead. It's
important to put the feet right not to sink, and every step pumps up an almost
unbearable stench of sewage.
