You have to remove your hat before you approach -
only approach the tomb of Anitkabir. It's made out of one single huge marble stone. Ataturk's
golden hits are hanging on the wall, and while approaching the big coffin, hat
in hand, you must remind yourself that Ataturk was a rather small man. But the
coffin is empty. The body rests in an undercroft grave where you, of course, are not
welcomed.
